Step by step
How a home move runs
The shape of a residential move depends on how much packing you want to hand over. The rest is the same every time.
Step 1: Walk the home
We go room by room with you, including the garage and anything going into storage, so the estimate matches the actual load.
Step 2: Decide what you pack
You choose: pack everything yourself, hand over the whole house, or split it — kitchen and fragile items to us, the rest to you.
Step 3: Protect and load
Floor runners and door padding go down first. Furniture is wrapped in the room, disassembled if it has to be, and loaded in order.
Step 4: Place, don't dump
At the new place, boxes go to the rooms they are labeled for and furniture is reassembled and set where you want it before we leave.

Do I have to pack, or can you do it?
Either. You can pack everything yourself, have us pack the whole home, or split it — most people have us handle the kitchen, artwork and anything fragile and pack the rest themselves.
Do you take furniture apart and put it back together?
Yes. Beds, tables and anything else that has to come apart to clear a doorway is disassembled, padded, and reassembled in the room you want it in at the other end.
What protects my floors and doorways?
Crews lay floor runners and pad door jambs and bannisters before anything moves, and furniture is wrapped before it leaves the room rather than in the driveway.
What does a local move cost?
Local moves are priced based on crew size, move size, location, and services required. Most moves use a 2–4 person crew with a minimum booking period. Travel time may apply depending on the pickup and destination. Contact us for an exact hourly quote.
Are boxes and packing materials included?
Regular packing and full-service packing are different options, and materials are quoted to the scope you book — cartons, paper, protective wrap, tape and other agreed supplies. Cartons can also be purchased separately.
