How Forward Moving & Storage handles the information you give us on this website, and the measurement tools that run when you visit — what we collect, why, and who processes it on our behalf.
Effective September 27, 2026
Who we are
Forward Moving & Storage is a Florida moving and storage company based at 110 NW 1st St Bay 5, Dania Beach, FL 33004. This policy covers this website, including the estimate request form. You can reach us about anything in it at support@forwardmovingstorage.com or (561) 820-6785.
What we collect
When you use the estimate form, this site collects what you type into it. The measurement tools described under Technical information also run on the visit; WhatConverts is designed to record a form submission — including name, email and phone — so it can be tied to the marketing source of that visit.
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your preferred move date and how flexible it is
- The size and kind of move, how far it goes, and whether you need storage with it
- Where the move starts and ends, at city, state and ZIP level — the form does not ask for street addresses
Technical information
To protect the form from automated abuse, your IP address and browser identifier are combined into a non-reversible fingerprint used briefly for rate limiting the form itself; the raw values are not kept for that purpose. The address lookup described next is rate-limited separately using your IP address itself: it is held in the server's memory to count those lookups, stops counting after five minutes, and stays in that memory only until the server trims its rate-limit table or restarts — on a quiet server that may not be until a restart. It is not written anywhere else for that purpose. Standard server logs record requests to the site, and if delivering your request to our systems fails, the request is logged so it is not lost.
When you type a ZIP code or a city — into the estimate form, or into the estimate pop-up on our homepage — the five-digit ZIP code or the city text you have typed is sent to our address-suggestion provider to return the matching city, state and ZIP code. The lookup is made from our server, so your IP address and browser are not sent to the provider. Nothing else about you is included in that lookup.
The site also uses Google Analytics to measure how it is used — which pages are visited, from what kind of device and browser, and roughly where from. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell returning visitors apart. When you send an estimate request, Google Analytics records that a request was made, along with the type of move (residential or commercial, local or long-distance, and whether you asked about storage), the states the move starts and ends in, and the page it was sent from. Clicks on our phone number or email link are counted too, with the page and the part of the page the link was in. This site does not send your name, email address, phone number or address — including your city and ZIP code — to Google Analytics.
Every production page also loads Google Tag Manager, a Google tool that lets measurement and marketing tags be managed from a Google account and added to the site's pages without changing the site's own code. Your browser loads it from googletagmanager.com.
A lead-tracking script from WhatConverts also runs on every production page. When the page loads it records the address of the page, the site you came from, and any campaign tags in the URL. It sets cookies so a later visit can be tied to the same session. It is designed to record an estimate-form submission as a lead in WhatConverts — including the name, email and phone typed into the form — so the marketing source of that request can be reported. The visitor's browser talks to WhatConverts directly; our server does not forward the form there. If phone-number tracking is turned on in that WhatConverts account, the phone number shown on the page may be replaced with a tracking number that forwards to ours, so a call can be attributed the same way. These scripts load when a production page loads; they do not wait for the cookie notice described under Cookies.
How we use your information
We use what you submit to prepare your estimate, to email you a confirmation of your request, to contact you about your move the way you agreed to when you ticked the consent box, and to operate and protect the form itself. WhatConverts is used so a visit, a form request or a phone call can be tied back to the marketing source that brought it — for example an advertisement or a search. We do not sell your information.
Who processes it for us
A small number of service providers handle your information so the site can work. Each receives only what its job requires:
- Granot — the customer-relationship system our coordinators work in. Your estimate request is delivered there so a coordinator can handle it. Granot has confirmed to us that requests submitted through this website are not automatically entered into its leads marketplace.
- Resend — delivers an email copy of your request to our own support mailbox, so a coordinator sees it promptly, and sends you a confirmation of your request, with its reference, at the email address you entered.
- Google Workspace — runs that support mailbox.
- Cloudflare — provides the bot check on the form's final step and processes the technical signals that check needs.
- TomTom — returns the matching city, state and ZIP code for the ZIP code or city text typed into the estimate form or the homepage estimate pop-up.
- DigitalOcean — hosts the website.
- Google Analytics — measures how the site is used (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location), and counts estimate requests — with the type of move and the states involved — and clicks on our phone number and email link, so we can understand and improve it. This site does not send it your name, email address, phone number or address. It sets cookies to distinguish visitors.
- Google Tag Manager — a tool for adding measurement and marketing tags to the site's pages from a Google account. Your browser loads it from googletagmanager.com.
- WhatConverts — records visits and, by design, estimate-form submissions and phone calls, and attributes them to the marketing source that brought them. It sets cookies (named wc_visitor, wc_client, wc_client_current and wc_swap) on this site's domain. Your browser loads its script from s.ksrndkehqnwntyxlhgto.com.
How long we keep it
Your estimate request stays in our customer-relationship system and our support mailbox for as long as we need it to handle your move and meet ordinary business and legal record-keeping obligations. Operational server logs are kept for a limited time and then discarded.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email support@forwardmovingstorage.com or call (561) 820-6785. You can also block or delete the Google Analytics and WhatConverts cookies in your browser. The form is entirely optional: you can always call us instead and give the same details over the phone.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted the form, contact us and we will delete the submission.
Changes to this policy
If how the site handles information changes, this page changes with it and the effective date above is updated. The version published here is always the one in force.
