How it works
Estimate → Confirm → Move Day → Settled In
A real four-step sequence, in the order it happens. You always know which step you are on.
Step 1: Estimate
Tell us what moves and where it lands.
A move coordinator walks your inventory with you — by phone, video or in person — so the estimate is based on what you actually own, not a guess from a form.
Step 2: Confirm
Lock the date, the crew and the window.
You approve the estimate and we reserve the truck. For long-distance moves you get a delivery window in writing before anything is loaded.
Step 3: Move Day
We pad, wrap, load and drive.
The crew protects floors and doorways, wraps every piece, and inventories what goes on the truck, so there is a list to check the delivery against.
Step 4: Settled In
Placed where you want it, not stacked in the garage.
We unload, reassemble what we took apart, put furniture in the rooms you choose, and clear the debris before we sign off.

Questions
The short answers
Common questions about how a Forward move runs. The full list covers pricing, packing, storage and interstate paperwork.
Where does Forward actually move?
Florida is our hub — it is where Forward is based, where moves are coordinated and where our storage is. From there we offer moving services in thirteen states along the Atlantic coast: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware.
Who is responsible for my move?
Forward is, start to finish. The job runs under Forward's own interstate operating authority and insurance with one coordinator owning it from the estimate through to delivery — whether the crew on your move day is a direct Forward employee or a crew working under the Forward name, the company answering for your shipment is the same one that quoted it.
What kinds of moves do you handle?
Residential moves, commercial and office relocations, long-distance moves out of Florida, packing, and storage between closing dates. Each one is quoted, scheduled and delivered as a single job under Forward's own operating authority.
How is my quote calculated?
Local moves are priced based on crew size, move size, location and the services required — most use a 2–4 person crew with a minimum booking period, and travel time may apply depending on the pickup and destination. Long-distance moves are priced primarily by shipment volume in cubic feet, the route, and services. Contact us for an exact quote; the figure is confirmed in writing before you commit.
How long does a move from Florida to Georgia or the Carolinas take?
Around 3–5 business days from pickup to delivery on each corridor, with your delivery window confirmed in writing in your estimate.
Get it in writing, not over the phone
Tell us what moves and where it lands. A coordinator prices the job in writing — a move across town and a haul up the coast alike.
